  3. In life we loved you dearly, and in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, that no-one else will ever fill.

I’ll be holding onto the love forever and not the loss, because death only ends a life not a relationship.

Take care of each other in the stars.

  4. I am glad you came back into Mum’s life all those years ago and in doing so we became a part of your life and family. You were the Dad I needed and in later years the Dad I wanted and even though we weren’t connected by blood or name, the bond and love we developed ran deep. At the moment, all I can think about is our loss and how much I am going to miss you, but I know it was your time and you were ready to join Mum.

  19. He is gone you can shed tears that he is gone or you can smile because he has lived, you can close your eyes and pray that he’ll come back or you can open your eyes and see all he’s left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he’s gone or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind be empty and turn your back or you can do what he’d want smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
