So sad to hear of your passing Peter, on behalf of the Aboriginal community you served and supported around the state thank you, you where such caring person I really appreciated our working relationship which was more a friendship , condolences to June and the family especially Rachel and Jamie .RIP Mate

A beautiful farewell for a beautiful man. Condolences to June, Rachael, Jamie and families at this very sad time. Peter you were a lifelong friend to the Murphy family and when it came time for us to say goodbye to our mum and dad, Pam and Gordon, you were there to support us as a friend but more importantly you conducted both of their funerals with such care, dignity and professionalism and we know that you too were grieving the loss of your friends too and for that we will forever be grateful for that. You were a one in a million Peter and now it’s your time to fly high with the angels. We will miss you mate, always and forever. RIP Peter, gone but will never be forgotten.

Dad losing a parent is hard enough. Losing both parents in such a short period of time in such challenging times is unbearable. You were loved by many. A man who touched so many people’s lives. You will never really know the profound effect you had on so many. You will never know how much I loved you and will miss you. You fought such a hard battle and I am grateful that with the love and care that June, Rachael and Jamie gave you we had you longer than I thought. At least I was able to get to you in time, unlike Mum and the times that I got to spend sitting beside your hospital beds, just you and I will hopefully get me through the hard times ahead of me. Spread you wings. Say hello to Mum and Mark when you get to your next destination and know that I love you now and forever. Michelle xx ❤️

To June and family: Condolences for the passing of Peter. Your and his care for Mum’s mother at Woodford Gables in the 1990’s was much appreciated. The care given reflects both of your qualities, which we can reflect on at this time.

Peter, you were such an amazing person and role model to myself and my brother once our grandfather and Dad left us, you were there to help us through those rough times and welcomed us into your family! You’re truly one in a million! Jamie and Rachael you have a huge support behind you don’t hesitate to reach out for support, June you sweet lady you are such a strong woman and I aspire your strength and your kind hearted and empathetic soul and you can move mountains and have the most amazing support behind you!

Peter I will never forget the things you have said to me and the bracelet you and your family gave me to me on my graduation night with the D on it for Delahunty, you’re an amazing soul that can now be laid to rest under the stars above watching over your beautiful family!
