Steve Laszczyk (Chopper)To our Dear brother Jack (aka) Jackson. We are so grateful for all the good times we had together. The pool, the pokies, the bus trips, the great meals, the fine whiskey, and the funny stories. You will always be missed, but you will always be talked about around the family dining table. We love you xx

January 31, 2025So sorry to hear of the passing of Jack. I have fond memories of Jack at primary school and at High School. During play/recess breaks he would write small plays and get the nuns to allow a group of us to play the parts when we got back in class. One year he had me playing the part of a tree which said a lot of my acting. But I just couldn’t say no to all that enthusiasm Jack emanated. He was always up to something, never offending anyone.
At High school I will never forget him having to sing the Rubber Ducky song on his own as he had been tormenting the teacher with it the entire period – and it wasn’t a music class. He was always the entertainer. And then there was the time one of our French teachers’ just didn’t want to hear that song anymore and she just ran out of the room screaming. Jack realising this was not good, decided to take control of the class, told everyone to put their heads down and do our work because he expected the principal to enter the room at any moment. We did what we were told and when confronted – our leader Jack said, “Sorry sir, we don’t know what happened. We were just doing our work quietly and she just ran off”. Saved by Jack. And who can forget the best deli in Moe. He knew what he was doing.
Post the deli Jack would always stop for a chat whenever I saw him, was always chirpy and always held that mischievous look in his eyes.
Many fond memories. Rest in Peace Jack

January 31, 2025I can’t say that we really knew Jack, as we were literally half a world apart, but through his marriage to Anita, his blood flows together with ours through the veins of his descendants. (Adriano, you too are unforgotten.)
On behalf of the entire Austrian family, we have lit a light in your memory in the Lourdes Church in Schneegattern. May it shine for you as an eternal light, dear Giacomo!Milan+Petra
