  2. Laurie was our Field Track Inspector and part of the Victrack Level Crossing Upgrade projects team. He was a really great guy, Inspector, advisor and mentor for us younger Project Managers. A wonderful human being with a terrific sense of humour, a great Essendon man and a sad loss to us all. Go Bombers – Go Clanga

  3. I would like to express my most sincere sympathies to Laurie’s family during this difficult time. Laurie was a highly respected member of the Railway Signalling fraternity.
I’ve had the pleasure to work alongside Laurie for many years in different projects and organisations, his unparalleled expertise and practical vision combined with his witty sense of humour made working with him an absolute pleasure.
It was a privilege for me to have been a part of Laurie’s professional life. “Clanga” will be missed by many but never will be forgotten by those who were fortunate enough to have known and work with him.
