Unfortunately I wasn’t there in her final moments but it has been a pleasure caring for your mother/grandmother during her time in care. She was a cheeky lady with a lively personality, but she also had a heart of gold and a beautiful smile to match and always gave nice warm hugs.

  15. To my Yiayia. ❤️
You were the only grandparent I ever had the privilege to spend any time with.
You were not only my Yiayia, you were the Yiayia to every one of your grandchildren and all their close friends too.
I still remember you looking after 10 of us (your grandchildren) at a time without missing a beat. You truly were a superwoman.
I know the last few years were tough, but you never let your guard down right to the end.
I am truly blessed to have so many memories with you during my childhood, which I will hold close to my heart forever.
Please be very proud of everything you have left behind.
We all love you dearly, and I am sure Papou was there waiting for you with his arms open, waiting to thank you for continuing his legacy right to the end.
Yiayia, I will miss your smile, and would like to thank you for everything you did for all of us, as little children right through until adults.
I know you and Papou are watching down on all of us and looking out for us.

I hope you are in a better place right now and maybe one day we will meet again.

    Love you always Damien.
