Born on June 15, 1935. Passed away April 10, 2021.

Passed away peacefully at LV Village on the 10th of April 2021 aged 85.

Loved wife of Joe (Dec).

Loved mother and mother in law of John and Jill, Francis, Rita and Peter, Bernadette and Russell, Monica and David.

Loved Nanna of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

So dearly loved, so sadly missed.

Mother and father reunited.

Funeral Notice
St. Mary's Catholic Church Monash Rd, Newborough
Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Mrs. Carmen Cassar will be offered at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Monash Rd Newborough, on Friday (16th April 2021)  commencing at 11am.

At the conclusion of Mass the funeral will proceed to the Yallourn Cemetery.

Rosary will be recited in the above church before Mass at 10.30am.

In lieu of flowers donations to Dementia Australia would be appreciated, envelopes at the service.

    it’s hard to imagine life without you, you’ve been there for us always!
    Life changed when dementia decided to become part of you, it was so hard to see you change to a different person, but we snippets of the old you here & there.
    Towards the end it took you completely, now your free of this, say hello to dad for us, my heart will ache every day not seeing you, but my love for you will never disappear !

  10. Mum you taught me a lot growing up, how to cook, knit and how to use a sewing machine and to hem my pants. When I helped you make cakes you gave me the spo to lick. Everything you did for us with so much love. I’m proud to be your son. When you were diagnosed with dementia my heart felt your pain and see you slowly loose you memory but you fought till the end.
