Dearly beloved and loving husband of Dawn. Passed away on Saturday July 3, 2021 after 40 wonderful years together. A spirited, courageous and much loved Dad to Chris, Toni and David, Tracey and Fred. Proud as punch Pop to Gemma, Nick, Steph, Shanny, Samantha, Ben, Toby and partners. Great pop to Eden and Willow.

Respected step-father to Mark and Jennie Saunders.

Pop to Melissa and Paige and their partners Simon and Robert.

  17. The World lost a True Gentleman if it wasn’t for you entrusting me with your beloved Avril my Riding Career would have been over before it started. She gave me such fun. She scored my first ever 1st place sash for Fatest Pony and I couldn’t be happier.
    You and Dad always enjoyed a Roll Up at the Bowls Club always a great Friend to Mum and Dad. There will be one Hell of a party going on in Heaven Dad will be there Bowls in hand ready for a Roll Up and Avril will be so happy to see you.

His services to the racing industry is greatly appreciated, a sport he dearly loved.

  25. Very sorry to hear of Lindsay’s passing. We first met in the early 70s through racing.
    You were on one side of the fence as a steward, I on the other as a young owner.
    We tangled a couple of times over racing but I believe we respected each other, to me you were always the fair and gentleman racing steward. Rest In Peace and ride with a loose rein.
