  6. Dearest Mama,
We’re sorry that we weren’t able to come and say goodbye. We appreciate knowing that you are not in any discomfort and surrounded by family in your final moments.

You bought me my first sewing machine and made me a pink heart cake for my 8th birthday. You let me play in the (many) caravans and gave me a pink quartz “tree”, and as I got older and began travelling, leaving the nest, you always encouraged me to keep adventuring and happily listened to my tales when I returned home for a visit.

We will miss you, Mama, but we comforted to know that you are now in peace.

Enjoy the endless library and beautiful news views in heaven.

Sending all our love from Boston,
your granddaughter Jody & grandson-in-law Niall.
