Born on May 12, 1929. Passed away November 1, 2020.

Loved and loving wife of Eddy(dec).

Cherished mother and mother-in law of Dennis(dec), Susanne and Peter, Rodney and Brenda.  Devoted grandmother to Thomas, Michael, Sarah, Matthew and their partners Kristy, Bianca, John and Ellie.

Proud great-grandmother of Mitchell, Logan, Benjamin and Jonathan.

Dearly loved and valued by her many close friends.

Funeral Notice
Due to COVID19 restrictions the Funeral Service for Mrs. Mary (Mollie) Burney will be a private funeral, by invitation only.

A service to celebrate Mollie’s life will be live streamed from St. Mary’s Anglican Church Morwell on Tuesday  ( 10th November 2020) commencing at 1.30pm.

  4. Deepest sympathy to Mollie’s family. Mollie was a dear friend to my late mother, Merle Lovel. I have vivid memories of the extended phone calls about Lawn Bowls and them dressed in whites with hats on, heading off to another days competition. I hope there are bowling greens in heaven.     We are so sorry we can not say goodbye to you in the old fashion way. You are the last of my sisters, I have known you longer than anyone else on earth. You are now back in the arms of your dearest Eddy and your son Dennis. Today I watched on from a far, with tears and sadness in my heart. I will miss you and love you always. The Curren family, with wife Judy, my son Rodney and I watched on today, and all my family were thinking of you with great thoughts and memories of your 90 th Birthday when we were all together as a family, we will cherish those memories forever. RiP Mollie , Love you brother Tom, wife Judy, son Michael and family, Daughter Wendy and family and youngest Son Rod and family.
