  7. Memories are flooding back: How you taught me to drive your car on back roads of Broadmeadows; Terry and I helping you navigate the road through the pea soup fog at night on the road to Greenvale; Your legendary stew with pancakes or individual Yorkshire Puddings; Going on those long family car rides “following your nose to get us home” Teaching me how to make a big pot of tea.
A quiet unassuming man and a lovely father in law . A pleasure to have known you and marry your son, Terry, who is so much like you.

  8. Going to miss you mate. Sending lots of loving thoughts to Mum, Barby, Dave, Carol, Kathy, Mick and the rest of all my distant nieces and nephews, partners and friends. I might be far away right now but you are all close to me in my heart. It was broken but they tell me it’s now fixed, but that was only the physical, I will never heal right from this – I have never felt so sad. So sorry I can’t be there for your send off dad. I love you all and really miss you heaps. I want you all to know that I am really proud to have you as my dad, thank you for all those years looking out for me as I grew into a man. Yeah, sometimes I went off the rails, but you were always there. RIP ya old bugger, when I can I’ll have that beer for ya :(
