Born on February 4, 1940. Passed away August 26, 2020.

Passed away peacefully at LRH on the 26th of August 2020 aged 80.

Loved husband of Jen (Dec).

Much loved father and father in law of Don and Kylie, Colin and Kim, Sheryl and Steve.

Loved Pop of Zoe, Loc, Remi, Rylan, Oakli, Hollie, Laetesha, and Charlize.

Finally reunited with Jen.

 

Funeral Notice
Due to COVID19 restrictions, the Funeral Service of Mr Don Bird will be a private funeral by invitation only. A service to celebrate Don’s life will be live streamed from Latrobe Valley Funeral Services Chapel in Moe on THURSDAY (September 3, 2020) commencing at 1.30pm.

My beautiful client Don, you were one of a kind, over Past 4 years I helped you at home as a support worker, we laughed alot, your sense of humor was amazing , your gentle ways I’ll never forget.   5. Dear Don. So sad to hear you have passed. I will miss your warm sense of humor. We had many laughs & banter over the years. We never missed our two pots bet between your Essendon & Collingwood. I still have the green plastic piggy bank that you used to fill with 1 cent coins, just enough for two beers. The cheeky remarks written in texta have faded but the memories wont.
