  2. I am so sad to have just heard of John’s passing.
I worked with John for a number of years in Engineering.
He was such a character! One of those genuinely caring people that you thoroughly enjoy working with.
I have fond memories of him talking with such joy about his wife and children; of lying in the paddock with the cows; making things for the house, and bringing in jewellery that he had handmade to show me.
He was one of the inspirations for me to learn silversmithing, and I was looking forward to making contact with him again to share that journey.
John, you will never be forgotten.
    RIP my friend.
