  2. Our dearest Katie.

I am devastated to think you are gone. Your kindness, intelligence, sense of humour and beautiful soul are unmatched.

I am so grateful to have memories of chats about Simon O’Donnell, Sunline, my kids, cricket, footy, tennis, basketball, animals, trivia, puzzles, news headlines, animals and so many other silly little things.

The joy in your face when I was pregnant with Nathan and I let you feel him ‘kicking’ me in response to your voice, will stay with me forever. You had the first cuddle of him when we came to work after his birth and chuckled when he snuggled in to sleep and I wouldn’t let anyone else take him from you. ‘Aunty Katie’ to my boys, always taking such an interest in what they were up to.

Katie, you really were one of a kind and I was happy to have known you as a work mate, but most importantly, for you to have accepted me as a friend.

    Love you forever,

    Jo, Nath and Luke Britt

  3. Katie,

A beautiful woman with a smile to melt hearts, a quick wit and brilliant mind.

I cannot imagine the world without you, just being there, ready for a catch up whenever I’m back in Gippsland. Ready for a gossip and cuppa.

Taken too early, I hope you had no pain and are now somewhere you can continue winning footy tipping competitions.

    Never forgotten

  7. Gorgeous Katie

When I met you, you made me feel like we’d known each other forever and that I’d instantly made a friend for life! Pity that life was not much much longer.

Your love of conversation, your friends and family and for Max and Lucky and all animals will be part my fondest memories.

I could write an essay on you and the friendship you gave me… but instead I’ll sum it up with these words (which are just the tip of the iceberg): smiling, laughing, joking, loving, funny, caring, kind, generous, loving, CHEEKY.. above all cheeky!!

I’ll never forget, when for a joke and bit of fun, I’d sing to you the song “Maybe Katie”….. and you’d just roll your eyes and say “you idiot!”

Thank you for your friendship Gorgeous… you’ll forever be in my heart!

  22. Katie you were a special friend. We shared a love of crosswords and trivia. I will always remember our roadtrips to Melbourne to see the Magic and then theTitans. It started as the two of us and then included Rebecca and my mum, and then Kelly and Jodie. We had so much fun and many late nights. Your laugh was infectious, and you were always surrounded by people who loved you. You were taken way too soon but will forever be remembered by those whose lives you have touched.
