You were not only a wonderful uncle to me but also to Terry, Amelia and Evie. We will cherish our last visit we had with you a few weeks ago with you having a giggle about how old everyone was and how young you still are. We played carpet bowls and Terry almost smashed the wall down and that gave you a good laugh. We played pool and we all just had such a good time. Our kids adored you, we all did. Words can not describe the sadness we are feeling. Our hearts are broken but bandaged together knowing you are with Mum. We could see from the day she left that a big piece of you went with her, now such a big part of us has gone with you both.

You were the most kind, caring, loving, compassionate person that showed love for his family like no other. I thank god every day that I can call you my Dad and our children call you their Pa. Our lives have forever changed and a massive hole has been left that cannot be filled.

You have always been my go to, my ear that listens to me and gives caring and meaningful advise. I will be forever lost and heartbroken. We lost mum but still had you, now we feel like we have lost everything. You are now in Mums loving arms again Dad where you have longed to be.
