  3. Farewell to a great footballer and a great bloke! I remember, as a 7 year old, Bill taking my hand and leading me off the old Yallourn footy oval prior to Moe’s 1956 grand final win while my old man was busy warming up with his team mates! That precious memory still in my mind after 65 years. Sincere sympathies to all of Bill’s family and those close to him. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, but now reunited with his beloved Daph. Rest easy “Big Bill” xx😥🏉🌹

  4. Homer, I only had the privilege of meeting you twice. The first time at your son’s funeral, you were a complete gentleman I put my hand out to shake yours and you kissed my hand saying lovely to meet you. The second time you had me in absolute stitches with your sense of humour and quick responses. I knew you were my kind of person when you said to Terry so you have six more kids then family is family. It was an absolute pleasure talking to you and hearing all about how you loved your gifts and especially the photo album. You won’t be needing pop sticks and duct tape any longer 😉😂 Will always have fond memories of you and our cheeky conversations, Terry definitely got his cheekiness and humour from you. Reunited with your beautiful wife and son. Give our girls a kiss for us please. Love Sharan xx

Bill I had the pleasure of knowing you for many years working at the rsl and shared so many laughs. You always knew how to put a smile on our faces, even if it’s seeing you at midvalley speeding through the food court on your scooter 🤣 or giving me grief about barraking for Collingwood. You were one of a kind and I will forever be truly grateful to of known you.

  11. Dad (old boy) as I always called you and mum was always (old girl) and it was always enough of the old. You are going to be greatly missed by all who knew you. The grandkids and great grandchildren all knew you as noisy pop because you were so loud 😂 It has been really hard over the last couple of years having to Skype, you couldn’t hear me but everyone in Traralgon could. Anzac Day will not be the same with you cracking about no one knowing how to play 2 up properly.Rest in peace up there with the “old girl” and Ross, I will miss you and love you forever xxx Christine, Terry and Jack ( whom made you so proud of him since Easter) RIP Go Tiges ❤️❤️
