Passed away peacefully at his home in Traralgon on April 1st 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Aged 79 Years.

Dearly loved husband of Rosemary.

Much loved father and father in law of Tracy and Mark, Sean and Sarah, Paul and Laura.

Adored Poppy to his 10 grandchildren and Big Poppy to his 8 great grandchildren.

The funeral service and committal for cremation for Mr. Maarten Klaas Akkerman will be held at Latrobe ValleyFunral Services Chapel, 260 Princes Highway Traralgon on Friday (April 12th 2024) commencing at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Victoria Heart Centre, Monash Medical Clayton would be appreciated.

Envelopes will be available at the service.
