Passed away on Thursday November 26, 2020 aged 76 years. Loved and loving husband of Judy. Father and father-in-law of Paul, and Linda and Brendon. Dearly loved pop of Cameron, Melissa and Ritchie, Chris and Bianca. Great pop of Rosie and “Peanut”. Friend of Annette. Pop Geoff to Lauren, Casey and Sophie.

A beautiful life has come to an end.

You died as you lived, everyone’s friend

Always so friendly, generous and kind.

Few in this world, your equal to find.

Funeral Notice
Latrobe Valley Funeral Services Chapel 437A Princes Drive, Morwell
Due to COVID19 restrictions the Funeral Service of Mr Geoff Ahern will be a private funeral by invitation only.

The Funeral Service for  Geoff will be livestreamed from Latrobe Valley Funeral Services Morwell on TUESDAY (December 8, 2020) commencing at 1.30pm.

Following the service, the funeral will leave for the Hazelwood Cemetery.

  4. Always welcomed with a very happy smile cheerful hello and do you want a cuppa which was many times a week. How you will be missed. You were always happy for Judy and me to be doing things together. You were happy when we made the bungalow into our craft space you liked having us around and liked to see the cards we made. You requested cards sometimes for people you wanted to give one to.
    Geoff you loved to visit the farm to see my family and liked to know what they were doing. I’m going to miss the cheerful, happy person in my life, though I’m sure you will be part of our conversations at all our get together. Annie

    We have many happy memories of when we lived on the farm and also the many holidays we had with the family – so we have these good times to look back on.

  8. Hard to say goodbye to someone so beautiful who has been part of my life for so long, will truly be missed and I wish Judy all the best as well.

    I still have a lot of fond memories from my childhood that I will hold onto for the rest of my life.
