I was lucky enough to play with Rattle for a few years. He was definitely one of the toughest pound for pound footballers I played with. He certainly feed me well with all those bullet passes, but one pass I will never forget. We were playing Traf and he had the ball a couple meters out left hand side of the goal square only to totally unexpectedly handball the ball over my opponents head where I fumbled the ball through for a goal. When I asked him why he didn’t just kick the goal himself he replied because I wanted to piss off those McGrath pricks. That’s the type of player & guy he was unselfish and full of mischief
