October 30, 2026102 years of an incredible life, and I feel so lucky to have been a small part of it ❤️
I had the privilege of coming into Nan’s life when I was 18, and over the years she became so much more than someone I cared for. She became a dear friend. She was someone who made a lasting mark on my life, and I will carry the memories and lessons from our time together forever.
While losing her is an enormous heartbreak, what a beautiful life she lived. 102 years, watching her family grow across generations, and having the privilege of remaining in her own home all those years of her life. What a legacy to leave behind.
I will forever be thankful that our paths crossed. Rest peacefully, Aileen. You were so loved, and you will be SO dearly missed ❤️
My heartfelt condolences to all of Aileen’s family, friends, neighbours and everyone who was lucky enough to know and love her; I’m sure her absence will be felt by so many.
