October 26, 2026We wish to extend to all of your family our deepest sympathy for the loss of your beautiful mum.
She was always so vibrant and full of life, a truly amazing lady. Dot was a fabulous cook. Her sponges and scones were so beautiful, just out of this world.
When we moved to Walsh and Gibson Road 40 years ago, she welcomed our family with open arms and such a kind and warm heart. She was a dear friend and we shared many cups of tea and great chats. We had a very special friendship that will always be cherished.
When you arrived at her house for a visit you were always greeted and showered with hugs and kisses and when you left you were also given an abundance of hugs and kisses plus an assortment of goodies that she had made or grown in her garden. She was incredibly generous.
It was such a privilege to have had her as part of our lives for so many happy and fun years.
Docalonie, as our kids always affectionately called her when they were growing up will be very sadly missed.
Please know that we are thinking of you all. With love from David, Caroline and family.
October 27, 2026Our thoughts are with all the Auchterlonie Families with the passing of their mum & nana Dot. Dot was a constant visitor at the Yinnar Post Office and General Store when we were in business there. Dot had a tendency to enjoy a chat and often never wanting to leave! Dot had a great deal of knowledge of the history of the Driffield & Yinnar areas & always ready to share. There was often a gift of some baking or some little item she had made. Treasure all your wonderful memories. Rest peacefully Dot.
