Dear Gordon your great contribution to community and to junior football in the Moe and Newborough area over Many years was greatly appreciated by many . You helped myself on many occasions whilst you as league secretary and myself as junior coach and club secretary early 1990’s to 1996 always willing and ready to offer help.. Well done Gordon a life well lived. Rest peacefully my Friend. Go Lions 🦁

I would like to say a special thank you to Gordon’s Neighbours. I know that Gordon was incredibly grateful for your friendship and assistance with his home and move to the nursing home.

To Gordon, what an absolute privilege it was to know you. Fond memories come to mind thinking of you. I know my family will never forget the beautiful friendship you had with our dad, Barry Ryan.
So many years together, volunteering and dedicating your time to the football leagues committees.
You were loved and respected by us all.
We can already imagine the conversations you’re having with dad now behind those pearly gates. Collaborating how to get Melbourne Football Club a flag, no doubt. May you rest in eternal peace.
