April 1, 2026Ann touched the lives of so many through her genuine curiosity and zest for life. We loved hearing her stories about her family and overseas adventures. Within weeks of her diagnosis, she attended a special event and just a few weeks ago she told me of a special lunch she had with her sister in law and that she was getting ready to go to the cinema with Ashley.

Adele and Ian BennettThinking of Ann’s family and close friends during this difficult time. Ann worked as a Casual Replacement Teacher when I was formerly the principal at Latrobe SDS in Traralgon. She always showed respect and care for students and staff and was warm and kind. We often chatted about her teaching support roles undertaken in remote communities for an organisation whom I cannot recall the name of. We did laugh too about having a shared surname but no known family connection.
April 2, 2026We were so sad to hear of Ann’s passing. Ann was a valued member of our bookclub for many years. Her gentle and friendly personality were always a welcome presence in our homes. She was well travelled and knowledgeable and her insightful contributions always enriched our discussions.

Our friendship began when Toby and Brendan started high school together.
Their friendship cemented our ongoing relationship and many of our interests coincided during the years.
To Cameron, Brendan and Ashley you must be feeling devastated at the death of your mother.
An old saying, you can have more than one wife, many children and immeasurable friends but only one mother and father.
Our thoughts are will you at this very sad time
Maureen, Ian, Rebecca, Nathan Toby and Monty Spark.Good- bye dear friend, brave to the end !

You will be sadly missed.Heartfelt sympathy to Cameron, Brendan, Ashley, their families and Ann’s extended family and friends.
Ann was a wonderfully generous, caring and appreciative individual. Her zest for life, her immense desire to learn, her enthusiasm for travel, history, art and literature were exhausting. Her love and encouragement for her family and many friends was epic. I first met Ann at Churchill Playgroup in January 1977 when she invited me to sit on the floor and play with her and her then, two sons, Cameron and Brendan. Her welcome led to a life long friendship. Rest in peace dear Ann.Ruth & Bruce Campbell.
April 3, 2026ohhhh dear my friend & mother-like figure, you were to me (2Z & so many othrs) 💜💚🧡 how I wished we could have had that last cup o’tea together. you always sheltered, fed & hugged me w/ such genuine love & affections. you always wanted to know everything about what was happening & you knew so many aspects about my life, that I could just “let it all out” without fear of judgment. you helped me through some of the hardest moments of my life in australia & wouldn’t you be proud that I am only a pledge away frm becoming 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺‼️ you were such a part of my journey – you understood my inconceivable depths of my love for my son & you always gave me a pillar of strength to lean into when I felt so very alone on these soils. thank you so much for your warmth & humanity. you will be sorely missed by so many but most of all your sons/daughter (in laws) & grandchildren. we know you’re w/ Rex, Mally & Dr Mike & so many others who departed this earth before you.
