Passed away peacefully at Latrobe Valley Village on Saturday 7 March 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Aged 79 years.

Dearly loved husband of Sandra.

Father to Andrea, Paul and Amy.

Opa to Tristan, Isla and Harvey.

Loved by his brothers and sisters.

The Funeral of Mr Derek Antoon Van Rysbergen will be held at Latrobe Valley Funeral Services Chapel, 6 Ollerton Avenue, Moe on THURSDAY (March 19, 2026) commencing at 1.00 pm.

At the conclusion of the Service the Funeral will leave for the Moe Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Moe.

In lieu of flowers, online donations to Dementia Australia would be appreciated.
