  11. Our deepest condolences on the passing of Sylvia. She was a breath of fresh air at Heritage Manor, someone whose presence could brighten even the quietest of days. Her love of music, her quick wit, her humour, and the kindness she showed to everyone around her made her an extraordinary woman and a joy to care for.

Sylvia will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. We take comfort in imagining her running freely, singing boldly, and laughing out loud—just as I imagine she always did—wherever she is now.

Our thoughts are with her devoted family, who have given so much of themselves in caring for both their Mum and Dad. May you find strength, peace, and gentle moments of comfort in the days ahead.

  24. I am sad to learn of the passing of one of life’s true blessings. Sylvia was always the life of every thing she did, sharing her kindness, laughter and her bag of endless lollies. We were lucky to have her working in the creche at the Churchhill Leisure Centre for so long entertaining all who came through the doors. She had such a infectious laugh, kind and generous to all. Her love of Country music and playing the organ at Church and other events was a big part of her life. She handled her awful disease with dignity and grace always thinking of her beautiful family. My thoughts are with David, Neil, Linda, Debbie,Fiona and their familis as they now navigate life without their beautiful Sylvie.
Love to you all. Annette Harris, Mark and Catherine. Xx

  29. To Dear David and Family – we are saddened to hear of Sylvia’s passing onto God’s Glory though
‘Death is not exguishing the flame – it is putting out the lamp as dawn has come”.
I love the memory of Sylvia smiling as she waved her finger at us to “go out there and do our line dances”.
Another beautiful memory is of Sylvia handing out lollies at the music afternoons. Such a kind and generous lady, a great inspiration.
