Tributes
  1. My dad was many things — a loving husband, a devoted father, a proud grandfather, a brother, an uncle, and a dear friend to many — but to me, he was simply Dad, and he was my hero.

Dad showed his love through his actions — through his care, his gentleness, and his unwavering devotion to his family.

He was one of the most caring people I’ve ever known, especially when it came to my boys. He adored William and Jonathan with his whole heart, and his excitement and love for Baby Evans #3, due in 2026, was something truly special. He was so proud to be their Grandad, and the bond he shared with them will live on forever.

Dad took my husband, his son-in-law Ashley, into his heart as though he were his own son. Their bond was built on respect, loyalty, and a deep mutual love that meant more than words can say.

As my father, he taught me the true meaning of love, strength, and loyalty. He taught me to be honest, to work hard, and to always stand by the people I love. I always knew how proud he was of me, and that is a gift I will carry in my heart forever.

Dad touched so many lives just by being himself. He was gentle, dependable, and kind. He listened without judgement and loved without condition.

Losing my dad has left a piece of my heart missing, but I am forever grateful for the time I had with him — for the memories, the lessons, the laughter, and most of all, for his love.

Dad, you will always be missed, always be loved, and never be forgotten.

    Forever in my heart.

  8. Good Old uncle Kev,
It’s been a week and I still struggle to articulate how this news has devastated me.
You were so much more than “my friend Kylie’s dad” you welcomed me in to your life as if I was one of your own. You were like a 2nd father, always ready for a hug when we met, there with words of supported when I needed them and unconditional love.
You welcomed all, never judged and would help anyone in need; values you have passed on to your family.
You passed peacefully with a heart full of love and such pride in the life you accomplish.
You will be so missed, spoken about for years to come as we all share our fond memories of you and never forgotten xxx
