Honouring the life of my hardworking & humble dad. For 78 years he lived with grit, humour and heart. He cherished his friends and loved sharing his famous dad jokes right to the end. I’m proud I could honour Dad’s wishes and be by his side. Saying goodbye was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, I’ll forever treasure his love, our bond and the time we got to spend together.

Thank you for creating memorable moments with my family. Rest peacefully Dad, you’ll be missed big time.

All our love forever, your daughter Loretta, Son-in-law Carlos & Grand Children Carlos-Alexis, Charlise & Santiago Cornejo xx

  9. To Ted’s family l send my heart felt condolences.

I could never have gotten my house to be what l wanted without the year of constant work and laughter that Ted helped me with. He was fantastic and ready whenever l rang for a weekends work. I look at my house and love everthing we did together l enjoyed being his ‘lackie’ and won’t know where to get such a reliable and helpful craftsman.
Always ready to tell me how much better than the Sainters his Bombers were. I’m very sad to hear of his passing.

  10. Fond memories of a wonderful fellow committee member, workmate, and friend. Ted’s persona – a “lifter not a leaner” was seen everyday of his too short life. His enduring legacy of work in the community will be lasting. Vale Ted, and condolences to those he left behind. Mark and Kim

  12. All our love a hugs to Ted’s family … Shane, Jason, Loretta and their families. Ted was a very special Uncle to me and my siblings and cousins, and a very much loved little brother of my Mum and all his siblings. He worked really hard and was a perfectionist with his work quality and was always quick with a joke, with his dry witted sense of humour. We will miss him dearly, but are comforted to know that his spirit and stories will live on forever in his family. Much love to you all xx

  14. Heartfelt condolences to the Mackay families on the passing of Ted. He will be greatly missed by them and many he had connections with. I first got to know Ted through our real estate office. He was our “go-to” person for any property maintenance required. No matter how big or small the job was, it was done with precision.
Ted was always proud of his work, often showing before and after photos on his mobile phone. After my husband Bill passed and business closed, we kept in touch and Ted was always ready to help if needed. I will miss our chats and his good humour.
    Remembering Ted with fondness.
