Sad to hear my old fishing mate has gone. A fly fisherman at the best level. Cherish those days at the dams, at Eucombene and other places. The trips in the semis to Melbourne. The trips with Marty, Bob and I were great days. Hope they are rising where you are now.

In life’s journey we meet many people and a few are memorable, Bob was one of those ; I have great memories of our ‘ meaning of life ‘ type conversations . It’s been an honour to have known Bob and his partner in destiny Cheryl. Cast long old mate , cast long .

So many years Bob, so many places, so many fish, so many ducks, so many discussions under and about the stars, so many beers, so many crazy spur of the moment acts, and so much love. Farewell mate. Sincere condolences to Cheryl, Kerry, Jodie, Honey and Brett, and Pete and Dick.

Such a beautiful man, and a very special partner of my dear friend Cheryl.. Will always remember our friendship and great conversations shown by Bob and Cheryl when we visited them.
