Funeral NoticeDear beautiful Rose, I am so sad to read that you have passed away, but know you will be finally at peace with your wonderful Harry & with your loved dogs & horses that have gone before you. I visited you many times over the years, after our time of working together at City of Traralgon. We had so much fun working together & all the times we travelled to Melbourne together. The last time I saw you was 23rd June, just before I went on holidays. You didn’t wake this day, you were sleeping peacefully. I sat with you awhile and as I left I kissed you and said goodbye my beautiful friend, as I felt you would leave this world before I came home & you have! My love & thoughts go out to all the family. You were all so treasured. I am so sorry I will not be able to attend on Thursday as am still away. Farewell my beautiful friend. I will always remember your gorgeous smile & sparkling eyes Rose. Love you forever. Julie.

I still remember when you took me on a horse trail ride down at Phillip Island, I thought it was the best day of my life ! . Mum always said I got my love of animals from you.
Boris , Heckle and I will be thinking of you always.
Rest in PeaceWe will miss you Aunty Rosa – I always loved visiting you at Traralgon and then at Toongabbie and seeing all the animals. I loved getting the typed letters from you in the mail and you were always interested in hearing about our fur babies. Anthony’s first ever horse ride was sitting on Dumpsey and he also talked about the ‘Ee Aww’ for many years! May you be enjoying catching up with Uncle Harry and your sisters and brother. xx

Thank you for all the wonderful memories I remember growing up with you. From fun times at Phillip Island ,Traralgon and Toongabbie. There was always plenty of laughter and chit chat. We have so many typed recipes you gave mum and I- chocolate cake and chocolate pudding were definitely the favourites. Your final home was the Heyfield Nursing Home where we got to visit you and still have laughs and animal stories. Rest in peace – we are going to miss you so much xx – Love Angela, Derek, Lachlan, Chloe, Kane & PippinDear Aunty Rosa
Some of my best childhood memories are of staying with you in Traralgon
Barney the Bull and Dumps the horse sound like fiction now, but they were real
I will never forget your welcoming nature and how in awe I was for your love of animals
You really were one of a kind, the world has lost a kind soul.

August 20, 2025For Aunt Rosa
You loved the farm, the fields, the sun,
The life with animals, the daily run.
With dogs, with horses, joy was found,
In every hoofbeat, bark, and sound.Your smile lit rooms, so warm and wide,
A heart where love and dogs would hide.
Though your days grew quiet, strength ran deep,
Your spark remained for us to keep.We saw your joy in every glance,
In tender ways, in each small chance .
You found to show you still were near,
Still full of grace, still bright and clear. Now you are free, your journey done,
Reunited with your loved ones.
Your sisters’ arms, your brother’s cheer,
A family circle, full and near. We’ll miss your light, your gentle grace,
August 20, 2025
The way you brightened every place.
But in our hearts, you’ll always stay,
Sweet Aunt Rosa, not far away.
