You helped me through the hardest times. I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you, like you were for me. Even sending gifts to my kids from where ever you were in the world. The world won’t be the same without you.

  25. Your imprint in my life I’ll always hold dear.
I only saw you just the other week, made you look all handsome, we hugged and I walked you to your car like I always do, and said ‘see you in a month’s time!’

We chatted about your awesome trip overseas to marry your friends, and getting you ready for your next trip in a couple of weeks.

I’ve been so lucky to have you in my world for the last 8 years. Sharing time with you every 6 weeks, with you literally driving a 5 hour round trip to Daylesford to hang with me, that will forever sit close to my heart.

To your family and Bryce, Im so sorry, my deepest condolences, the tragedy of loosing this beautiful & caring man, I’m hurting for you all.

Sending so much warmth & love to those that need it, goodbye for now my dear friend.

  26. We are all so sad that the world has lost a truly kind, gentle, funny and engaging person, as Tom was. Although our times with Tom were brief in the scheme of things, these short times were made better by him being there. Our walking adventures won’t be the same. We are feeling very much for Carolyn, Alan and Tom’s siblings and in-laws, and also for Bryce and all the Mumford family. RIP Tom. Rhonda, Stan, Louise and Max Kemsley

  27. To my beautiful cousin Tom — so kind, gentle, and full of love. The first to RSVP, the last to leave, and always arriving with warmth and laughter.

You loved the finer things in life, but it was your generous heart and deep devotion to family that defined you. Your bear hugs were the absolute best.

My hearts breaks especially for you Alan and Carolyn, Hannah, Angus, Emily, and your families, and for you Bryce, the love of Tom’s life.

    Adored always, never forgotten.

    With love, Catherine

  28. To our dearest cousin, Tom.

Tom was truly one of a kind. He brought such colour, warmth, and originality into our lives. He embraced every occasion with flair and never missed a chance to dress up, celebrate, and be completely, joyfully himself.

He loved life’s luxuries—travel, style, and a touch of drama—but he always, always valued family above all else. No matter where he was or what he was doing, he prioritised us. We always felt his love.

Thinking of you always with so much love

Thank you for always opening your home to us and always bringing your mums noddle salad to every event…and finally giving in a sharing the recipe with us! I’ll always treasure all the ‘southsiders’ dinners and cocktail nights!

  35. I’ve always known Tom of course, but we became much closer when he lived around the corner from us in Yeronga.

He was always such warm and fun company, even with the curve balls. He was a total social butterfly, and I can’t remember him ever knocking back a social invitation.

We had many boisterous ‘farewells’ as he anticipated leaving Brisbane only to find the date delayed. Or so he told us!

He was genuine and beautiful and much loved.

    A final farewell Tom.

  37. We only knew Tom a short time but our whole family instantly liked him and were thrilled when he came to Adelaide to share our Canadian Thanksgiving. His dry humour and love of food and wine meant he fit in effortlessly. When your dog takes a shine to someone on first meeting, you know that is a good person. He was a wonderful house guest and will be remembered with love. “Oh my stars!” will be forever now in our family sayings.
Our deepest condolences to all of Tom’s family and friends. We are all richer for having known such a kind and giving soul, and we will pay his love and kindness forward to others.

  48. To Tom Family and to our darling Tom

I want to share my heartfelt condolences to you and your family and pray that the peace of jesus will guide you.

    Tom darling:Glam.

Where to start and what to say. You have left me speechless. Your light and wisdom will be missed but I feel so blessed that your brightlight is now a going to brighten the heavns above.

I meet Tom in 2014 in Brisbane at a dam smith concert . Along. He is Brest friends with my my friend Leah. And we all meet at Sam Smith and at Sofitel Brisbane.

What a blessing that was. My last time with Tom was in Melbourne at a bottomless brunch. I wasn’t suppose to come to this lunch as I was caught up but I made it. This was this year 4th of May. I will always treasure this moment .

You will be missed but never forgotten. Bless you Tom

  49. After today’s beautiful send off for the human sunshine that is Tom Lade – I feel even luckier to be Tom’s friend. Hearing his amazing family, dear friends and loving partner speak so beautifully and adoringly about everything we clearly all love about Tom; I love him and miss him even more. It was so special to see all the people in Tom’s life that he always spoke so highly of and it was heartbreakingly beautiful to see Tom’s eyes, face and mannerisms in his gorgeous mum and siblings.
What a magnificent and incredibly loved human you will always be TDL. I’m so sad you had to go – but wow, what a life well lived my darling friend. You’re endlessly inspiring and there will never be another Tom. You made the world a better place.
Loving you always, forgetting you never.

  51. My beautiful friend, how I miss you.
There are no words to express how much you touched our lives, and it’s incomprehensible that you’re no longer with us.

Your sense of humour, immaculate taste, and fiercely loyal friendship were just some of the many things that made you special.

I’m truly grateful for the time we shared — our cheeky midweek lunches in Armadale, boozy dinners, and long walks around Toorak, judging houses and laughing the whole way through.

Our friendship was full of laughs, interiors, and food — it’s one I’ll always hold close to my heart, and I’m so thankful I was a part of your world.

All my love and condolences to the Lade family — who were the shining light of his life and who he spoke of so often. Also to Bryce — the love of his life.

Love you endlessly and forever in my thoughts.
