I first meet Murray in the mid 1970s, we were both teaching at Yallourn Technical College, we lost contact after he transferred back to the Morwell Technical School. I caught with him again when we were both learning to play the guitar about 12 years ago. Since then, we would play our guitars and sing a few songs every Wednesday afternoon. He was a great friend, and we had a lot of fun together. We will miss you. Ken Ludlow

We all have so many wonderful memories of an absolute gentleman. From the early tennis days at Koonarra, Saturday nights at the Tempy then dinner at ‘the Chinese’ or the Anderson’s, Frasers or Raits to all the fun & frivolity at Yarrawonga. Sad to hear of the passing of Murray, he and Lyn have been great neighbours of ours for over 30years. Apart from the occasional yarn across the fence Muzza was a very insightful member of the Friday night team at Siggy’s, always the wise one with a measured opinion everyone listened to.
