As I reflect on your amazing life and my fond memories, the overwhelming sense is one of pride. From humble beginnings, your hard work and dedication created an environment where our family could flourish. We all owe you a debt of gratitude and I will never forget.

Whilst you may be gone, I will always remember the time we spent together. Even the random afternoons that we spent in the TV room, quietly watching a program, I always felt a deep comfort and sense of ease.

I’ll miss your rough giggle, that cheeky twinkling in the corner of your eye and a butterscotch out of the tin in your car.

I love you Grandpa and I know we’ll meet again.
