Eileen, our best tenant ever and a wonderful friend. Anyone who mowed the lawns at the units has very fond memories of the cold bottles of water and damp towels provided. No junk mail or unwanted papers were ever left in the mailboxes, she didn’t want her home looking untidy and her garden was a credit to her.
I loved how down to Eileen was, so much wisdom and no pretension. Loved our lunches with Jacqui and Jan and I know Eileen did too until health niggles started to affect our little quartette. The last time we spoke she knew her end was near and as I would expect she was so pragmatic, accepting her lot and grateful for the life and love of family she had enjoyed. Sincere condolences to Michael, Peter, Jo and families, everything you did for her was certainly appreciated and leaving you would have been her only regret, she didn’t enjoy being an invalid. No more frustration Eileen, rest in peace. Bill and Jan. 🌺💕🌺

The day we knew you were not well, it rained, the heavens opened, and the angels cried, we all hoped you’d come back to us, that in itself was a selfish thought, you needed to rest, you had an amazing life, Eileen and we were privileged to have been a part of it, albeit for a short time, but the imprint you made on our hearts, well, thats just always going to be there, you had the happiest room, and then, the saddest.
