Lorraine was a valued life member of the Traralgon Garden Club. A state judge at Flower and Agricultural Shows. She will be sadly missed by our members.

Goodbye to our very dear friend Lorraine . She always had love and concern for our children and for John and myself . Always enthused about life and a capacity to love others without judgement . Loved dearly by us all . The Vandenhams

Sincere condolences to Sharon, Wayne, and their respective families on the very sad news of Lorraine’s passing.

Lorraine used to babysit my twin brother and me what feels like a century ago. As second cousins, we spent many hours together researching our family trees. My wife Teri and I hold such wonderful memories of the times we shared with her… helping out at CWA functions, enjoying meals with her and Ian, and those special fellowship times after church each week.

Lorraine also taught Teri floral arranging, and they loved sharing recipes together. Teri still smiles at the memory of me trying to beat Lorraine in the annual church Australia Day “Thong Throwing Competition”…a challenge that always brought plenty of smiles and laughter.

We will miss Lorraine immensely. She was an inspiration and a blessing to all who knew her. We take comfort in knowing she is now at home in God’s care.

Words cannot express how much Lorraine has meant to our family over the past 50 years. A friend with huge heart of gold who has stood beside us in all circumstances of life always willing to help and encourage.
I will always remember her words to me just a couple of weeks ago to always “ Pray about it”
