February 24, 2026In Loving Memory of Our Dear Friend Marie was a cherished member of the Yallourn North Seniors Group and was loved by all. Her warmth, kindness and gentle spirit brought joy to every gathering. She had a special gift for crocheting and knitting , and through every careful stitch she created beautiful pieces that she generously donated to our group and to others in the community. Her handmade gifts wrapped many in comfort and love. Marie was an intricate and treasured part of our seniors family. Her presence strengthened our friendships and enriched our group in countless ways. She will be sadly missed, but forever remembered- beautifully stitched into the fabric of our hearts . Remembered with love from all her friends at the Yallourn north Seniors Group

All of my happiest childhood memories begin with Nana Val and “Aunty” Marie. She made life so memorable, even in the most humble of settings. And she taught Germy, Manda, Dean, Kat and me how to have fun and make a little mischief. I will always cherish the beautiful knitted baby clothes you made.
Goodbye to a lady who was always there for my family, through all the good times and all the hard times.
Reunited with “Aunty” Daryl.

February 25, 2026So sorry to hear of the passing of Marie, sincere sympathy to all her family and friends. Marie along with the late Val Chapman played darts with me at the Morwell RSL back in the late eighties, those days we had lots of laughs and fun. May her family find love and strength at this very sad time.
