Latrobe Valley Funeral Services are long-standing members of principal Australian and international funeral director associations and embalming institutes. Membership to recognised professional industry associations and institutions require the staff of Latrobe Valley Funeral Services to strictly adhere to professional standards of conduct and code of ethics, providing the community with reassurance and confidence of genuine care and professional service at all times, particularly at a time of vulnerability for grieving families and friends.

Latrobe Vallery Funeral Services pride themselves as being a member of the Australian Funeral Directors Association (AFDA). The Australian Funeral Directors Association has represented professional funeral directors throughout Australia since 1890. Today, the Australian Funeral Directors Association insist their members abide by a strict code of ethics, designed to ensure quality premises, facilities and qualified staff, thus guaranteeing the public a high standard of service. Latrobe Valley Funeral Services strictly adhere to the professional funeral standards set out by the Australian Funeral Directors Association and observe and practise the AFDA code of ethics.

Latrobe Vallery Funeral Services employ staff educated in funeral management, bereavement studies and embalming. Proudly, since 1980, they have been members of the Australian Institute of Embalming and the British Institute of Embalmers. Members of both the Australian Institute of Embalming and the British Institute of Embalmers are bound by a strict code of ethics, thus ensuring the highest standards of service from our staff.
